About the Artwork:

When I experience sound through my Synesthesia, it is never 2D. Instead, it is staggered. It comes in waves, moving and flowing with the rhythm.

‘Only a Wisp of Smoke’ is part of an ongoing series exploring my response to music.

I build each painting in a series of layers. First, glazing translucent hues to create a vibrant saturation of colour, and later working in buttery impasto strokes to create movement and texture within each piece.

‘Only a Wisp of Smoke’ is a burst of joyful celebration of colour. Its serene blues flow into a fiery explosion of glowing amber and ruby. Lines dance, and colours flare.

All large artworks are delivered in a custom-built box by an eco-friendly specialist fine art shipping handler to ensure the safest delivery.

Please allow up to two weeks for your painting to arrive. You will be notified of tracking details and a delivery date prior to delivery.

If this artwork is to be shipped internationally, it will be removed from its frame and shipped rolled in a rigid mailing tube, ready for stretching and framing at your local framer unless requested otherwise.
